Service very bad. My child was issued a prescription eyeglasses for the fist time. Optometrist was insisting to get a special lenses worth of £300. My child is only 13 years old and eyesight was not significant bad.None of the staff came to ask if we need a help with choosing the frames or any other help. The stuff was just sitting chatting and laughing between themselves. After we chosen the frame we waited another 20min. I needed to approach the stuff to make someone come to see us. We never ... ever will go back to the branch at Castle Street Norwich.

Rude patronising optician
I walked in and the optician greeted me abruptly with 'sit down there', no hello or niceties. And it went on like this and he was patronising and rude in his short abrupt and unhelpful explanations. I didn't feel I could complain afterwards as his door was open immediately behind the reception desk.

Great service and after care
I had a excellent eye test service from Hettie professional and extremely knowledgeable. After care picking my glasses fantastic whilst keeping to covid19 guidance and procedures.

I returned three times to get my glasses to fit without pinching giving me a headache again couldn't fault the service. Third time Patrick open the door to me invited me in check list for symptoms, cleaned down chair, Patrick was polite professional and what a service 20 mins in total, he knew his job inside out.

I ... now don't even know I am wearing glasses' A big thankyou to Patrick. The whole team within the shop were competent worked as a team and by far show up other opticians in Norwich in these worrying times.
